Healing and renewal after divorce

Live audio chat with Susan Booth Mack Snipes, C.S.B.

In this chat, Susan begins by quoting Mary Baker Eddy in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, “Arise from your false consciousness into the true sense of Love, and behold the Lamb’s wife, — Love wedded to its own spiritual idea” (p. 575). She said this sums up what she has learned about satisfying the desire to be married and feel loved, because by seeking God first, the natural expressions and symbols of Love flow from it. She also said that God's love for us never ends and the more we are conscious of the ever-presence of good, the more constant and seamless good will be.

Susan answers questions such as: How can a person open their heart to love and marriage again after a divorce? How can someone overcome a stigma of failure that folks feel after a divorce? How do I know if it is right to get back together with a former husband who has surfaced and seems to be making a bid to get back together again? How can we pray to help the children of divorce go forward with their own lives? And after 32 years, my marriage ended in divorce because of infidelity. How do I forgive my former spouse?

Susan answers all these questions and more with the assurance that understanding God as Love itself will lead us, protect us, and show us our present completeness as the loved children of God that we already are.
