QUICK RECOVERY FROM CEREBRAL HEMORRHAGE

When I was in college, I had a healing that was very important to me, and from which I've continued to gain fresh insights.

As I was returning from college one evening, my small car was struck from behind. The police report estimated that it was flipped end-over-end three to five times from the force of the collision. My head struck the pavement at least once, and a rod from the convertible's soft top pierced the back of my head. I was taken unconscious to a hospital, and my mother was called.

My mother was a medical nurse, and as a professional courtesy for the surgeon for whom she worked, two well-known and reputable neurosurgeons examined me. They agreed that the accident had resulted in a severe cerebral hemorrhage and required immediate surgery to remove pressure to my brain. Their prognosis for my recovery was not good. They told my mother that even if the surgery was successful, I might have problems from the injury the rest of my life.
