SPIRITUAL ROADS TO SUCCESS

In a world in which competition for prestige or power grows fiercer, this seems a good moment to redefine success and failure. These terms have become a big deal, even in children's sports, where some kids now play n scoreless games, with trophies for everyone.

David Kennedy is spot on when he writes, "True success might be defined as the achievement of lasting good" (p. 15). And he goes on to explain that the successful unfoldment of good is the perpetual activity of God, which is expressed in man and is sustained by divine law: "There is no failure in God's kingdom."
