Communing with God ends migraines

For a number of years I suffered at periods from migraine headaches that affected my vision. One morning I woke with one. I had an early business appointment that involved a car journey of some distance, and I felt that it was right to attend.

I dressed and went downstairs, but the symptoms appeared to be worsening. I telephoned a Christian Science practitioner to ask for treatment. The practitioner answered with these words from the book of Psalms: "Be still, and know that I am God" (46:10). She urged me to sit quietly and dwell on this Bible citation.

As I closed my eyes and let the omnipresence and omnipotence of divine Love fill my consciousness, I felt a great peace. I opened my eyes and my vision was normal. The headache was gone. I had been healed during those few moments of communing with God. I was able to drive to my meeting without any difficulties whatsoever. This healing took place ten years ago, and I have never since suffered from migraine.
