No emergencies

"In case of emergency" is a phrase we are all familiar with on signs, answering machines, and so forth. But we would do well to affirm to ourselves, when this phrase is used, that, in the reality of perfect God and perfect creation, there are no emergencies. No moment when the divine order slips into chaos. No moment when fear is too great for the clear, healing realization of divine Love's control. No moment when indestructible Life is not present to hold us in perfect being. God is ever present, the only power, and we are one with this All-power
