I desire to express gratitude for Mary Baker Eddy, God's messenger, for restoring to the world the Science of Christ, which is blessing all mankind.

My gratitude for the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health, is deep. On page 559, the author, Mrs. Eddy, writes: "Read this book from beginning to end. Study it, ponder it." I have made this a practice since a practitioner early called my attention to this statement and the necessity for obeying it. Each time that I have finished reading the textbook I have been aware of an outstanding healing. Sometimes it has been a healing of a physical problem; at other times the healing has been of limited mental concepts. I am most grateful for the spiritual regeneration that results from prayerful study and pondering of the message of the textbook.

I have experienced mental surgery. I was in an accident in which my arm was broken and my hand and wrist crushed. With the treatment of a Christian Science practitioner the arm was healed on the third day. I felt the bone go into place. As for the hand and wrist, I had no use or feeling in my hand or wrist for three months. However, I continued in prayer each day, and one day I felt an adjustment in my wrist that reached to the end of each finger; and immediately my hand and wrist were entirely free.
