The biggest blessing of my life was the revelation that God is...

The biggest blessing of my life was the revelation that God is Love, which came to me at a time of great need when physical and other problems had made me feel that life was not worth living. At this time I picked up a Sentinel from a literature distribution box in a bus station. The first article convinced me that there is a God, and that that God is Love. The second article convinced me that taking my own life, which I had intended doing, would not bring me oblivion but greater problems to meet. And the third article convinced me that Jesus was the son of a virgin, a theory I had thought unbelievable. By this time I knew that I would live and devote my life to Christian Science.

That was over thirty-seven years ago, and Christian Science has met all my needs since then. Sometimes they have been met quickly; at other times there have been problems that required much consecration in rooting out the errors of self.

During my first year of reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and an occasional Sentinel, and of attending church when I could, I was healed of anemia, ingrowing goiter, acute indigestion, acute constipation, foot difficulties, and a poor complexion. I also stopped wearing glasses.
