Reports of Progress

A librarian writes:

"This has indeed been a progressive year for our Reading Room. We feel the progress has been due not only to the loving and consecrated work of the members of the staff and the Reading Room committee, but also to the members, who have shown an increased interest in this church activity.

"Early in the year we increased the hours during which our Reading Room was open to the public by two more evenings a week, as well as Saturday afternoon. In keeping with this step of progress, standing orders were increased for the Christian Science Quarterly, The Christian Science Journal, and The Christian Science Monitor. New sets of books, including the Bible, 'Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures' and the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, were placed in the study room. Fresh books were obtained to display the Lesson-Sermon in the window, and several copies were added to the lending library.
