PROVING THAT WE ARE GOD'S SONS
"Now are we the sons of God," affirmed John (I John 3:2). He indicated, however, that we do not yet know what that means, although we shall know sometime. Today in Christian Science we are grasping with increasing rapidity the nature of true manhood. We know more than ever before what we really are, and we are demonstrating that true status with improving expertness.
When we look about us we observe tremendous evidence of the operation of good in human experience. Intelligence, beauty, love, purity, strength, harmony, justice, and spiritual perception are manifested all around us. Although we can even now applaud the grandeur of men's accomplishments and goodness, what we observe in evidence is merely a hint or a foretaste of our capabilities as we gain a higher understanding of true being as the reflection of God, infinite good.
Each one of us is infinitely wiser, lovelier, and stronger than is evident to human sense. Each one upon whom our thoughts rest is in reality the perfect expression of God, good. Even while to sense the individual is thinking that he is a poor, ignorant, sickly, fearful sinner, he is in truth the perfect expression of infinite Mind, God. In his perfect being is no discord.
