A childhood free from the fear and experience of many so-called children's diseases, a home blessed with devoted parents, who received class instruction when I was a baby, instantaneous healings of measles, mumps, oak poisoning, burns, and a hand crushed in a heavy car door, also inspirational help in school examinations, protection and guidance, the overcoming of extreme nervousness when riding in a car, confidence replacing fear and self-consciousness when appearing before an audience, are some of the blessings that have been mine through Christian Science.

In my married experience, the harmonious, painless births of our first two babies and their protection, as well as many instances of healing, are beautiful to remember.

For a period of several years I yielded to the suggestion that it would make life more harmonious if I attended my husband's church with him and enrolled the children in that Sunday School.
