In gratitude to God I send this testimony, which relates some of the experiences I have had of the healing power of Christian Science. In the year 1920 I felt that I was a prisoner as was Peter before the angel of the Lord led him to freedom (see Acts 12). But my prison was my body, and the angel which led me to freedom was God's message which I found in the textbook, Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy. And what a glorious day that was!

For ten years I had been troubled with an unsightly skin disease called psoriasis. It had been pronounced incurable by a specialist and six doctors who had tried every known remedy. But thanks to Christian Science I was completely healed.

My healing took quite a while, however, because I was so deeply sunk in materiality. But I knew I was being spiritually reborn, and I persevered. Finally I learned that health is a state of Mind and that there is only one Mind, God. Then the healing came.
