In expressing gratitude for...

In expressing gratitude for Christian Science, I should like to tell of a healing I had. On one occasion I found that I could not use my legs. I managed to get to a telephone to ask a practitioner to help me. He agreed to do so and then referred me to Mrs. Eddy's statement in Science and Health (p. 209), "The world would collapse without Mind, without the intelligence which holds the winds in its grasp." The healing quickly followed.

Through Christian Science, one of my brothers was healed of undulant fever, which the doctors could not relieve. This healing was quick and permanent. The good resulting from it cannot be fully expressed in words.

While I was driving to another city on Christmas Eve of 1956, my car skidded off the icy road and went about eighty feet down a decline. It came to rest between two large rocks. One medium-sized rock was under the car. I had no sense of fear and suffered no injuries, for my consciousness was filled with thoughts of Christ, Truth.
