Having been benefited a great many times for many years from reading the testimonies in our periodicals, I should like to express my gratitude through this means for the healings which I have had through Christian Science. First, I want to express my gratitude to the friend who introduced me to this Science. Throughout the years since then, my family and I have experienced help physically, mentally, and financially. I am also grateful for the joy derived from membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, where I have had the privilege of serving in various capacities.

Our family has had healings of various so-called children's diseases, periodic colds, a badly injured back, and a toe which was evidently fractured. Supply has been provided, and desirable homes have been found at three different times when none appeared to be available. In one absent treatment my mother was healed of gallstones, from which she had suffered for many years, and she never had a recurrence of them.

Another member of the family was healed of a chronic dislocated shoulder, for which he had been discharged from the Army during the First World War. The doctors had said that he would have to submit to an operation in order to have the trouble corrected.
