More than twenty years ago a testimony of mine was published in the Sentinel. So many blessings have unfolded during the years since then that I feel I must again express my gratitude for what Christian Science has meant in my life.

One of the blessings for which I am increasingly grateful is the sense of God's protection and guidance at all times. During World War II our home was in a southern coastal town in England where there was expectation of enemy landings, but we had a wonderful sense of protection and freedom from fear, especially during the months when enemy aircraft were constantly passing over our neighborhood.

During these years my daughter and I were working in a business which war conditions rendered increasingly difficult, and it was necessary constantly to handle the belief of strain and fatigue. It was a great cause for gratitude that we were able to continue to give service of value, not only to our regular customers, but also to numbers of servicemen stationed in our area.
