Christian Science has proved to be a great blessing to me and my family over a number of years.

During the Second World War I was stricken with a severe attack of eczema, which caused me considerable pain and anxiety. However, despite the discomforts attending this disease, I was able to carry on my daily work, and only my closest relatives and friends were aware of the condition. The healing was slow, as I was mesmerized to some extent by fear and uncertainty. When these beliefs were finally overcome, through the help of a Christian Science practitioner, all the unpleasant symptoms faded away.

Since the arrival of our two children, my wife and I have found it necessary to make increased efforts to apply Christian Science in our daily lives. Various so-called children's complaints have been overcome with the minimum of discomfort, sometimes in the face of severe criticism from those not interested in Christian Science.
