STEP FREELY FORWARD

Some travel brochures include the statement, "All the world is travel-minded." The photographs of far-off places are alluring indeed, and many people set out on journeys to the ends of the earth and way points between. Yet the satisfactions, however great, of physical travel from one place to another cannot begin to approximate the everlasting joys of the spiritual journey, which takes one far from the belief that he lives and moves in matter.

Material pleasures, even the greatest, are but temporary; matter is full of sorrow and trouble, and ends in death. Spirit is eternal. pure, joyous, and the one who travels Spiritward partakes of heavenly delights.

Whoever wishes to advance from a false conviction that he exists in matter to the knowledge that in reality he lives in Spirit's kingdom may do so by taking Christian Science for his guide. This Science, discovered by Mary Baker Eddy, shows us how to recognize our real life as the continuing unfoldment of our immortal identity.
