"When I was selected from my office to assist in all Air Force weapons and gunnery meet, I considered the choice an odd one," wrote an airman. Then he continued: "The meet was scheduled for a city where gambling and gaming provided an added lure for participating military personnel. I was known to he a nongambler and nondrinker: so for me to be chosen seemed illogical, especially as there were others on the staff who were capable of performing the same job and who would have enjoyed the gaming, gambling, and drinking.

" As I pondered the eleven-day assignment, I recalled an article printed by The Christian Science Publishing Society, which explained that no matter how routine or matter-of-fact a task seems, it contains lessons to be learned and benefits to be derived. Whether it be a walk to a store or a humanly unpleasant trip, the action will bless someone when it fulfills God's will.
