Words can never express the...

Words can never express the gratitude I feel for Christian Science, because it was through its wonderful truths that my mother was restored to health. Soon after her healing I developed a cold. I was given the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and was asked to learn "the scientific statement of being" on page 468. I did so and was healed. Following this experience I became a pupil in the Sunday School. I have had many healings and blessings during the years in which I have been a student of Christian Science.

The Scripture (Prov. 3:5, 6), "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths," has meant much to me in working out problems of relationship, employment, and home. Always, when I have acknowledged and trusted God as the only power and presence, the unpleasant situations in which I have found myself have been corrected. I have had healings of a stiff neck, sprained ankles, colds, bronchial trouble of long standing, streptococcic throat, and various pains. Also I have been healed of loneliness, and satisfying companionship has unfolded through my reliance on Christian Science.

I am grateful that I have learned to turn to God through study of the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's works, thus utilizing my own understanding of Christian Science to prove dominion over discord. My gratitude is unbounded for the loving support of the practitioner who has helped me, however, when her aid was needed.
