Their Progress Is Inevitable

For some time the members of this church and its Reading Room Committee had done prayerful metaphysical work for guidance with regard to Reading Room location. The room was then located in a block of offices in the city. Suddenly the owners of the building requested that we take other quarters with a less accessible and inviting stairway approach, as they were renovating and remodeling the interior.

At this juncture, when the situation seemed difficult, the long, faithful study and thoughtful, devoted work in Christian Science were rewarded. Suitable ground-floor quarters, next door to the largest bookseller in this city, became vacant. These were most suitable for our Reading Room and were obtained by us for this purpose.
