First Church of Christ, Scientist, will be dedicated Sunday, March 23. It is located at 715 S. Baldwin St. The ceremonies will be held at two services, 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. ...

The first activity of this church was ... in 1887.... By 1903 the attendance had grown, so a room was rented on the third floor of the Belknap building on S. Lafayette Street. The attendance increased, and the quarters were moved to the second floor and then later, with a still larger attendance, to the first floor.
