With gratitude for the testimonies given in our periodicals and at our testimony meetings in Churches of Christ, Scientist, from which I have derived inspiration and help, I wish to relate some of my own experiences.

My first healing was that of a tubercular condition of the femur, or thigh hone. This healing was completed in one week by a Christian Science practitioner to whom I had gone fully intending to prove that Christian Science could do nothing for me, as I considered my condition to be incurable. The healing occurred over twenty-five years ago. I have been active ever since then and have had no recurrence of the condition.

Shortly after this experience our son was born, full credit being given to Christian Science by the attending physician, who said to my wife: "Thank the woman who prayed for you. I had no hope of saving either you or the child." With the help of a Christian Science practitioner I was healed of the tobacco habit of many years' standing. While I was having Christian Science treatment for it, the desire for intoxicants completely left me. The demonstration over the tea and coffee habits was also made at that time.
