Among the Churches

Current Notes

Rustenburg Herald

Rustenburg, Transvaal, Union of South Africa (Society).—On Sunday morning, February 7, 1937, the new building of the Christian Scientists was formally opened, and it proved far too small to accommodate the adherents of this teaching as well as the many visitors from other places. Those present were privileged to hear several interesting and uplifting readings and exhortations.

The building, which has been erected on the Kloof Road, is somewhat small, but is an ornament to the town. There is a large Reading Room and two other rooms. Round the building there is plenty of open space.

Christian Science services are held in this building every Sunday morning. Testimony meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month, in the evening.
