On page 463 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures"...

On page 463 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy we read the following: "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive."

I have had many opportunities to prove this statement since I learned about this beautiful and practical religion. In April, 1933, I attended a local Christian Science church for the first time and was impressed with the calm, helpful attitude of its members. I then borrowed the textbook from the library, and read it steadily for two weeks. With the help of a practitioner, who lovingly explained to me man's spiritual origin, I lost all desire for smoking, a habit in which I had been indulging for eight years. Headaches and constipation were likewise overcome as I grew in understanding and continued with the daily study of the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly.

I wish to express my profound gratitude for the beautifully harmonious birth of my baby daughter. This occurred with practically no pain in thirty-five minutes after I entered a sanitarium. I am indeed grateful for the free literature, of which I took advantage before subscribing for the Sentinel; for the pleasant, helpful contact with various church members; and for the growth in grace which I am acquiring through the study of Christian Science.—(Mrs.) Ethel Ziegenfuss, Laurelton, Long Island, New York.
