It is now nineteen years since I first turned to Christian Science in an hour of great need, and received my first healings from many inharmonies, both mental and physical.

Medical science and osteopathy had both failed to help me, and finally I was told that I could live only a short time and that as an invalid. A serious heart trouble, bad eyesight, weak throat, almost constant backache, constipation, a great deal of self-pity, and so-called artistic temperament were some of the ills that were manifested. After ten days' treatment in Christian Science I was healed. I have never ceased to be grateful for the loving help and patience of the practitioner, for others who have since helped me, and for the constant daily benefit to be found through the study of our textbook written by our beloved Leader. In all these years Christian Science has been the only medicine in our home, never failing, and always available.
