Yes, public libraries have sheet music departments: and one who is not aware of their activities may be surprised to learn of the large number of pieces of music borrowed from these deparments. Recently the Chicago Public Library accepted twenty-five sheets of music comprising the settings of Mrs. Eddy's poems for solo use. It was found that this library had twenty thousand piece of sheet music in circulation. Any eligible borrower may take out five at a time. The sheet music is put in binders for such use.

Christian Scientists in other cities may find it a helpful provision to donate to their public libraries copies of Mrs. Eddy's hymns with solo settings. Also, the revised Christian Science Hymnal would doubtless be received gladly by libraries.
