I wish to express my gratitude for the wonderful healing...

I wish to express my gratitude for the wonderful healing of my son from severe burns about the face and eyes. He had taken gunpowder from an old shell and put it in a tin can. As it did not light immediately he blew on it, and got the full force of the explosion about his face and in his eyes. We took him immediately to a loving practitioner who was about twelve miles distant. On the way I repeated "the scientific statement of being" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 468) over and over again. His uncle, who was present at the time, wanted to have him taken to a physician, and declared that Christian Science could not wash the gunpowder from his eyes; but it was proved most beautifully that it could and did! Blindness was feared by those who saw him; but thanks to God and Christian Science, he was healed in a week's time, without a scar. The new skin was as white and smooth as a baby's; his eyes are as good as ever.

I also wish to testify to my many healings, of stomach trouble, constipation, influenza, and other ills. I am very grateful for my slight understanding of Truth and all it has done for me and mine.
