It is with a sincere sense of gratitude for my healing in Christian Science, and in particular for a beautiful healing of cancer, that I take this opportunity to give my testimony to the healing power of Truth, as revealed by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

My husband's mother was a Christian Scientist before he was born, but until our marriage I had never known anything about it. Throughout our early married life, however, I was always willing to let him work out our problems in Christian Science if he so desired; and each manifestation of the power of God, understood and demonstrated, convinced me that this religion was just what I needed. Even then I only attended church, and gave no particular attention to the daily study which soon I was to be shown was very necessary.

Through not doing protective work at taught in Christian Science I became overwhelmed with fear of cancer and in the course of some months was a great sufferer from this difficulty. From past associations with a sick friend I recognized that I had developed every symptom of that disease, and for months I was not free from severe pain. I was unable to attend to my household duties, and was so fearful that I could not even sleep at night.
