The Apostle Paul asks us to "prove all things" and "hold fast that which is good." When I came to Christian Science about eleven years ago I had indeed proved many things without having found anything that could satisfy my hunger for real life; yet something within me insisted that there must be found somewhere this sense and understanding of true life here and now. My joy when brought into Christian Science cannot be told. I at once recognized that this was Jesus' teaching; that here was the way of life which he had pointed out to us. As I began to study this blessed Science, my health improved and my former ailments began to disappear. I had for many years been weak and nervous and in many ways miserable, so that life seemed a burden to me. Now all this is wholly changed. I am enjoying my life more and more, because Christian Science has illumined it with its marvelous light. My daily prayer is to be able to show my gratitude through love and consecration.
