I have received so many blessings through the study of Christian Science and from reading the testimonies of others that I wish to express my great gratitude by telling others of some of my many healings.

I was troubled all my life with catarrh and had tried nearly every remedy I had ever heard of, including medical treatment by different physicians, but without relief; so when Christian Science was brought to my attention, I decided to try it, with the result that I was quickly healed. The tobacco habit was also overcome. As a cigar maker for over thirty-five years, I was a slave to the habit. Our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 1), "Desire is prayer." My desire went up to God for freedom, and through the help of a practitioner I am now free from this dreadful habit. Mere words cannot describe my thankfulness for this release from bondage.

I was wonderfully healed of severe injuries received in an automobile accident; also of a broken ankle. The ankle healed without having the bones set. Influenza was destroyed in one treatment after much suffering for three days and nights. Stomach trouble has also disappeared—all since I have begun to learn my way in Christian Science. It is with a heart overflowing with gratitude to all who have helped me on my way, that I write these words.
