Among the Churches

Current Notes

Cairo, Illinois (First Church) —The Christian Science church has now moved into its new home, 707 Washington Avenue. The interior of the building, which was recently purchased by the Christian Science church and which was formerly a private residence, has been beautifully decorated and newly furnished. The front of the building has been painted in stone color, and the lower floor has been converted into one auditorium for church services. The upper floor will be used for Reading Room and Sunday school classrooms. —Cairo Evening Citizen.

Sandusky, Ohio (First Church) —The edifice of First Church of Christ, Scientist, at 128 East Adams Street, one of the most beautiful in the city, has now been dedicated. The dedication comes at this time as a result of fully payment of the cost of construction, as no Christian Science church can be dedicated until it is entirely free from debt. The structure is of classical Renaissance style of architure.
