Because of my inability to express myself properly in the English language, I am having a friend write my testimony for me, so that I may express my grateful appreciation for what Christian Science has done for me.

At the age of fourteen years I came from Serbia, unable to speak English, and not an attendant of any church, although I had been christened in the Serbian Orthodox church. I lived the life of the average immigrant while employed for fourteen years in a coke plant.

One day, while taking a shower bath at the coke plant, I felt a severe pain in my head, as though someone had hit me with a hammer. This left me with a headache for the day. Frequent recurrences of this soon found me in bed with a continual pain through my head. I could no longer stay at my work. A physician's care for a year, with two very painful operations at a hospital, made me worse than I had been at first.
