I attended my first Christian Science service several years ago out of curiosity, but immediately knew Christian Science was the truth I had been looking for. I was very much discouraged, owing to the fact that I had just lost my baby girl and was also living in a different city, away from my folks. Since then we have had many physical healings, some of which I will enumerate.

In 1922 I gave birth to a thirteen-pound baby, experiencing very little pain with the exception of the last ten minutes. The previous winter I was instantaneously healed of blood poisoning in my foot, which I thought resulted from cutting a corn. I had been unable to wear my shoe all the week, and on Friday morning had my husband telephone a practitioner, asking her to call on me. A few minutes after she left the house I determined to put on my tennis shoe, as she had said, "It is right for you to wear your shoe;" and much to my surprise I was able to get my shoe on and to keep it on, in spite of the swelling. On Sunday morning I put on my regular shoes, and on Sunday attended church as usual.
