It is about fifteen years since I was healed through Christian Science of chronic intestinal indigestion, for which I had failed to find relief from materia medica and osteopathy, though I am grateful for the loving efforts put forth by the physicians to relieve me. I had always been delicate. Since my first healing through Christian Science, my health and strength have increased so as to enable me to do the work which formerly required three servants to perform.

I had worked conscientiously and earnestly for thirty years in a denominational church. Two years prior to my hearing of Christian Science the church failed to satisfy me, and the Bible meant nothing to me. I gave up both. After I took up Science, the Bible became an open book, both literally and spiritually.

I will enumerate but a few of the many blessings which Christian Science has brought me. I was relieved of boils, which had distressed me for years. If the physician's diagnosis was correct, a fibroid tumor also vanished. Influenza in a very aggravated form was healed. But the greatest blessing which Christian Science brought was the comfort it gave me at the sudden passing on of my husband. My Christian Science friends knew of his passing before I did, and they helped me. This help was wonderful. My supply has been beautifully met since then; and not only financially, for friends, home, and loved ones have been provided.
