I desire to express my gratitude for a quick healing which I recently experienced. I awoke one morning manifesting all the symptoms of influenza; and although I endeavored to hold thought steadfastly to the truth, I did not seem to make much progress. I was, however, able to go out to business and perform my various duties, although at times it seemed rather difficult. By five o'clock I felt very much worse; so much so that I decided to ask for Christian Science treatment. I telephoned to a practitioner, who lovingly said, "Your life is '"hid with Christ in God,"—with Truth in divine Love, where human sense hath not seen man [Science and Health, p. 325].'" This revealed to me so clearly man's inseparability from God, divine Love, that I arose next morning well.

I am also very thankful for the healing of profuse nosebleeding, with which I had been troubled since childhood. This seemed a slow healing; but one day I began studying that wonderful statement by Mrs. Eddy in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 99), "The calm, strong currents of true spirituality, the manifestations of which are health, purity, and self-immolation, must deepen human experience, until the beliefs of material existence are seen to be a bald imposition, and sin, disease, and death give everlasting place to the scientific demonstration of divine Spirit and to God's spiritual, perfect man;" and I was healed. I cannot say how much this demonstration has meant to me. It has brought a great sense of freedom; but I know that the physical healing is only the result of a fuller understanding of God as Life, Truth, and Love, and of man as His image and likeness, spiritual and perfect, gained by studying the Bible in the light of Christian Science.

For this wonderful revelation of Truth I am deeply grateful to God, and grateful also to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for her steadfastness and love in giving it to the world.
