For several years I have enjoyed perfect health through reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and I earnestly thank God for the truth that makes free. I never can be grateful enough to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for giving us Science and Health, which teaches us how to demonstrate the truth. For years I had suffered untold agony from broken arches; my feet were never free from pain. I also suffered from sciatic rheumatism, from blind spells that left me with terrible headaches, and from varicose veins, which were very painful. I could see no pleasure in life as I never expected to be well again. One day my sister asked me to try reading Christian Science, and she lent me her copy of Science and Health. So for a week I read during every minute I could spare from my work. I found it good reading, and felt rested and refreshed afterward, and something seemed to tell me that I had found what I had been wanting and waiting for all my life. After reading one afternoon I found that I was perfectly free from all ills, and the reading of Science and Health had healed me. Oh, how happy I was. The Bible and Science and Health are my constant companions now, and I find I must still go on, I must know more and more of that wonderful love of God that inspired Mrs. Eddy to devote her life to help mankind.
