Saginaw, Mich. (First Church).—Paul Stark Seeley, lecturer; introduced by John S. Porter, who said in part:—

A little more than fifty years ago Mary Baker Eddy believed that the power Christ Jesus used in healing the sick was in accordance with laws as definite and unchangeable as the laws of electricity or mathematics, and with unselfish devotion she consecrated her life to investigating and learning the truth, until she proved that her belief was true, and many cases of healing followed her understanding of this power. In a book called "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" she gave to the world the result of her study, which she named Christian Science. Since that time many thousands have felt the healing potency of this Science.
