I send this testimony in gratitude for my healing in Christian Science. This teaching is helping me in my daily problems, and is showing me how to uncover error and destroy it with the truth. It has taught me that God is a very present help in time of need. I used to think it was not right to trouble God with our small problems, as He had enough to do to attend to the larger ones ; but Christian Science has taught me that God is with us all the time, and that He is not a person sitting on a throne judging our every act, but is divine Love, Life, Truth, and intelligence, and we only have to know the truth of His creation to be free.

I have had many demonstrations of the power of Truth. Glasses that had been worn for sixteen years were quickly laid aside as a result of reading Science and Health. I did not begin the study of Christian Science for physical healing, but to get a better understanding of God and the Bible. I was raised in a so-called orthodox church, my father being a minister, but could not get the right understanding of God until I began the study of Science and Health in connection with the Bible. This has brought me the peace that passeth understanding, the "pearl of great price," and I am indeed thankful to God, and grateful to His faithful follower, Mrs. Eddy, for showing us the way to Him. She does not ask us to believe, but to prove the truth in our daily lives.

Christian Science teaches us to rely upon God in every need, and helps us to bear our sorrows. I have been studying Science for several years, and feel that I am gaining in understanding each day.
