Appreciation

The following cablegram and letters bear witness to the appreciation of our brothers and sisters across the sea of the loving-kindness of the Christian Scientists in America, and also to the effective work of William D. McCrackan, M.A., through whom arrangements are being made for distributing the fund which they have contributed for the relief of those in need:—

"The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston, Mass., John V. Dittemore, Clerk.

"Dear Friends: Your cable message was received on Oct. 2. We were glad to hear of your kind intention to assist financially the Scientists who suffer from the consequences of the war. With much joy and gratitude I instantly began to make inquiries as to the existing needs, and shall inform you of the result obtained.
