Christian Science found me a physical wreck, having been a sufferer for over three years from heart trouble. I had consulted several specialists and taken a great many drugs, but no improvement was realized. At last I was obliged to go to a rest-cure, the doctor saying this was the only thing that could possibly do me any good. About this time a friend told us of Christian Science. I knew nothing about it, but I was tired of materia medica and hygiene, from which I had obtained no benefit. We called a Christian Science practitioner, and in less than a week I was able to get up and dress. As I continued to study the Bible, and our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, all fear of disease left me, and my consciousness was filled with a peace which words cannot describe. In about three months I was entirely healed and was able to return to business.

I have also been healed through Christian Science treatment of weak eyesight. For some years I was obliged to wear glasses, and was told I must never go without them. I am now able, however, to do all I wish and have no trouble. I am indeed grateful to God, and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for this physical healing; but I am far more grateful for the spiritual uplifting. The Bible, which I had formerly found uninteresting, is now a new book to me. My constant prayer is that I may strive for more purity and humility.—D. Lumgair, Selkirk, Scotland.
