Christian Science came into our home at a time when...
Christian Science came into our home at a time when I had almost yielded to a sense of despair, and it fed me on bread that I knew not of. Since then I have had many proofs of the efficacy of this treatment, and I will mention three instances which I hope will be a help to some mother who is struggling to know the truth that makes us free from sin, sickness, and death. My six-months-old baby, who was very delicate, was completely healed of a lingering spell of bowel trouble, and became a healthy child. He is now in school and has never taken any medicine. Another child, when a baby, was healed of acute lung trouble in a very short time, with only one visit from a Christian Science practitioner. There was an epidemic of fever in the city, and our neighbor's children were all housed in with it, when suddenly my oldest boy was attacked. I sent for a practitioner, and in three days the boy was healed and the little sister, who was with him all the time, was protected by divine Love. Nearly all diseases common to children have come into our home, and been healed by Christian Science.
Thanks and all glory to God, who has given us, through Mrs. Eddy, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," that we may unlock them for our practical use.
Pattie C. Jett, Winchester, Ky.
