AMONG THE CHURCHES

Encouraged by the monthly subscriptions to the building fund of the Christian Science church of Stockton, the members are arranging to place contracts for a suitable assembly edifice. The lots belonging to the association are on the northwest corner of Flora and Center streets. The price stipulated for the real estate has been met to within fifteen hundred dollars, and the board of trustees feels justified in pushing the building project to completion.
