Through the great benefit which my brother had received, I was induced to come to Christian Science for help, and it was while taking treatment myself that the question of the healing of my little girl was brought up.

The child, then five years old, had been unable from her birth to see anything when looking down, though she could see distinctly any object in front of her or at a distance; consequently she was unable to run and play as other children could, as she was apt to stumble. I rejoice to be able to state that with less than one week's treatment she was perfectly healed, being able to stand erect and to see a pin at her feet.

I also wish to tell of the healing of my husband, from what the doctor pronounced an incurable disease, said to be the effect of a fall eight years ago, which had injured the spine, When the pain became so intense that he would become unconscious at times, and when all material means had failed, he consented to have a Christian Science practitioner called in. This was about five o'clock in the evening; and by twelve o'clock he was able to go to bed and to sleep. He went to his work in a week, perfectly well, and has continued so ever since.
