It is with great pleasure that I make known to suffering humanity what Christian Science has done for me. Three years ago I had bronchitis, was nervous, unable to sleep, and coughed almost constantly. My physician advised me to go to Colorado, and while there I grew worse. After consulting three physicians, and trying their remedies with no relief, I returned home in a much worse condition than when I left. Again my physician was sent for, and he told my family that it was a hopeless case, that I would never be well again, but if possible to keep the sad fact from me. Here Christian Science—the good Samaritan—came to my rescue. There being a practitioner in the house she was called at once. My plasters and medicine were immediately laid aside, and that night I slept without an opiate. The following Wednesday I attended the experience meeting with my practitioner, and did not cough during the service, this being my first evening from home since my illness, as the physician had pronounced night air injurious. Science and Health was ordered at once. I thank our dear Leader for its beautiful teachings. She has made the Bible so plain, that I can get nearer to God, and feel the presence of divine Love more than ever before in my life. I only wish I could go out into the world, and tell the glad tidings to every one, so that all might come and be healed.

Since this glorious restoration to health I have been able, by the help of Truth and Love, to make many demonstrations, not only for myself but for others, by reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." I have never called in a practitioner since my first wonderful healing. For all of these blessings I am truly thankful to God, and too much gratitude cannot be given our beloved Leader, whom divine Love has endowed with such spiritual power.
