I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. When I turned to it, I had been an invalid for ten years—sick in mind and body—a neurasthenic. The first treatment I took was more particularly for tonsilitis,—so pronounced by a physician who gave me medicine for it, but the next morning I was so much worse that I decided to try Christian Science, as I had heard of wonderful healing through it. In two treatments I was not only cured of tonsilitis but also of a dreadful stomach trouble which had been so bad that for years I had denied myself everything but plain food and had even then at times suffered tortures. As I have said, my whole body was sick, and nothing had been spared in ten years of doctoring, travel, and rest-cures, in hopes of relief, but in two days Christian Science healed me. Soon after I took up the study and became a happy, normal person, and felt that life was indeed good.

That was four years ago. Since then I have grown to see that this great truth is the Saviour of mankind. Whenever a cry goes up in the night to the Father, it is heard, and all shall see this light which leads unto the perfect day.—Belle Goodyear Hodges, Chicago, Ill.
