I became interested in Christian Science through the experience of my husband. The first visit the Scientist made we told her to send Science and Health by return mail, which she did, and I have made it my companion ever since, and can truly and thankfully say it is the "Key" which has unlocked many passages of Scripture for me.

My husband was healed in eight weeks of asthma which had troubled him for twenty years. Now he has no symptoms of such a disease, and with it disappeared a bad case of fistula. Since he took his first week's treatment, which was absent, we have never used one drop of medicine or other material remedies of any kind for ourselves or our children.

The following are a few of the many diseases from which we have been healed through Christian Science,—pneumonia, scarlet fever, croup, mumps, cholera infantum, eruptions, sore throat, sore eyes, and burns. The grip and earache which recently attacked my youngest boy were met in a very short time. My oldest boy, now seven, on two different occasions had a rusty nail run into that part of the foot, an injury to which is thought most dangerous. The first time it was healed instantly. The other time, being away from home and two days having passed before he had treatment. he did not wear his shoe for a week. He was where all kinds of material remedies were offered, but he accepted none of them and had a member of the family where he was visiting write home for treatment. For these and many other overcomings of error through truth I am indeed thankful to God, and especially for the spiritual uplift I have received.
