I am seven times one to-day," as this date is the year's milestone of my new life in Science. "Seven years of plenty" after more than "seven years of famine," mental and spiritual. This is why deep gratitude fills my heart, and I would that I could find words to express it in a way that might reach some other "weary pilgrim, journeying 'up hill all the way' " (Science and Health, p. 574), and lead such an one to read and study the "little book," "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which is indeed the chart of the way back to the "Father's house," where there is always "bread enough and to spare."

Words can never express my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for what she has done and is doing; only loving obedience to all her wise counsel and heavenly-directed guidance can begin to satisfy my desire to recompense her for the true joy her words and work have brought to me. Truly, "her children arise up, and call her blessed."

Soon after the light of Truth shone upon my waking thougth, I was enabled to lay aside glasses which I had used six years for reading or sewing, and I have never felt the need of them since, for which I am indeed very thankful. I have also been able to help others and have seen nearly every form of error yield to the power of Truth and Love during these seven years, for all of which I can never be grateful enough to God and to our beloved Leader.
