Christian Scientists love all men engaged in the amelioration...

Manchester (N. H.) Union

Christian Scientists love all men engaged in the amelioration of human suffering, and toward physicians their thought is always kind, for no class of men are more self-sacrificing.

When a Christian minister addresses his congregation with the desire that God's word may become a "present help" to sick and sinning mortals, it should be the truth that is spoken with the understanding, or the utterance will do no good, no matter how strongly it may stir the imagination or arouse the sense of right. An incorrect statement is not God's word. No matter how sincerely intended, it can do only evil until it is corrected.
