INVEST OR DIVEST

The stock market falls,
shares reach an all-time low;
from Wall Street, London, and Hong Kong,
come forecasts filled with woe.

A sense of panic sets in,
great fears of substance lost,
with computers hard at work
to quantify the cost.

Then quick as light an angel thought—
Where is true substance found?
Does it reside in
currency
of dollar, Euro, pound?

Think from another point of view—

DIVEST
your thought of fear that matter can be substance true when God is all that's here.

DIVEST
your thought of sly false trusts of plenty or recession.

DIVEST
it of all anxious thought that you can lose possession.

So here's the great attainment—
Don't trust in stock and share,
but know that
God's abundance
is with us
everywhere.
