Stomach cramps healed

I would like to express my deep gratitude for Christian Science and the dedicated Christian Science practitioners who are ever ready to love and give support when called upon.

It was three days before Christmas, and my days were full with holiday preparations and attending various activities with family and friends. As I was getting ready to go to bed, I began to experience stomach cramps.

I prayed to realize the truth of perfect God and perfect man, and to understand that God is All-in-all and that man cannot be outside His loving care. I also prayed with this statement from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy: “A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive” (p. 463). And I affirmed the powerful truths found in “the scientific statement of being” in Science and Health: “There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter.… Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness. Therefore man is not material; he is spiritual” (p. 468).
