Who’s in the driver’s seat? God!

Cars, to me, are the best way to describe how God relates to us and helps us. I like to think of myself as a car and God as the driver and the gas. And I like to think that God is in charge of the maintenance department. Angels are His repairmen.

God’s angels are thoughts from God that keep us safe. Good thoughts from God take us in the right direction and keep us out of trouble. The devil is a speed bump or roadblock, but angels show us a way over or around.

I like what Mary Baker Eddy says in Science and Health about angels: “God’s thoughts passing to man; spiritual intuitions, pure and perfect; the inspiration of goodness, purity, and immortality, counteracting all evil, sensuality, and mortality” (p. 581).
